That'll have to wait. It's in a weird cell phone format that I have to convert to something else otherwise the audio doesn't work.

A splitter is a good addition to anyone's
    wood processing set up.
You can still split by hand when the urge huts you.
But after using hydraulics , it sure is easy on the back
    :)

That sounds just about like me and my bike. I used to ride many thousands of miles in the summer months but it finally got to my neck, wrists, elbows and backside. Wife hollered at me for years. One day I came home really whipped. Only had rode 20 miles or so and sadly put the bike away. Told the wife if I was ever to get back riding decently again, I'd have to break down and finally get that recumbent bike. Her words: "It's about time you came to your senses." The result?

Since I picked up this load of Elm yesterday, I'm in a Bit of a pickle. My 5 ton electric isn't going to split Elm. The maul bounced off the first round, and I though I heard it laughing. I need to get a splitter. I'm debating between the Huskee 22 ton at TSC for $999, or an Ariens 22 ton at Home Depot for $1199. The HD is real close to the house, and I'm thinking the Ariens is a better machine because it has a Subaru engine. Anybody have any thoughts?

I don't know much about the Ariens, but I don't think you could go wrong with the Speeco. The Briggs has been bullet proof for me thus far. I really like the log cradle beam on the Huskee.
