Buddy has been on a rip making brats of many flavors. Sent me home with two packages. Mango habanero. House Special. The HS mimic our local favorite pizza. Truly a match! Delish. I added seasoned taters and the wife did green beans. Good mix. We will try the MH soon.
Yaaaa. Thinking about pulling out my grinder and taking up the challenge! Believe I'd start up with a batch of potato sausage. Mmmmmm. On another note. These pics are the first on my my new Iphone. damm that thing takes nice photos.
What ratio are you using and what type of fat? I usually go with a 70/30 and use pork fat when making any type of deer sausage
Had a moo butchered and tried a new locker plant. When I picked the meat up I decided to try some of the yum they had for sale in the display case. One of the best was buffalo blue cheese brats. YUM!
My cousin made some brats with crushed pineapple in them. If you are into sweet and savory flavors this may be worth a try because the pineapple almost kinda helped steam them from inside while cooking and helped keep things moist.
I’ve just used store bought “kits” either cabela’s or Hi Mountain, not sure which ones. Flavor has always been fine but need to get the moisture dialed in.
