Thank you all! I appreciate it! Not bad for a fat old "White" guy... The hard part was finding a paint that was close to the original color, or close. Rustoleum School Bus yellow was not available so I went with a "sunburst sunset yellow" It's what they had on the shelf at the Ace Hardware... :) Close enough.

The Wife and I went through Covid Late September 2021, I only had a minor dry cough, slight headache, minor body aches, and just a slight touch of messed up Smell/Taste issues, the Wife was the opposite, she had a very severe case, all symptoms, spent 3 of the longest nights of my Life in the hospital on oxygen, I didn’t even know if she would be coming home, and they wouldn’t let me visit her, even though I had Covid at the same time, two and a half years later, she is still tethered to an oxygen concentrator, or her back pack with an oxygen tank in it, unfortunately it is looking like that is going to be a permanent situation :(

Before Covid, I didn’t have any trouble throwing this thing up there, now

The wheels being dual drilled, for two different lug spacings doesn’t help, I always end up with the lugs trying to go into the wrong holes, it’s bad enough changing the tires on the axles, but lifting the tire/wheel up to the spare carrier, and trying to line it up with the RIGHT holes is a Real PITA:mad:

Regarding the wheels, can you mark the correct holes and then plug the other ones with rubber plugs or something?

I have thought about spraying Red and Green paint in the Wrong/Right holes but haven’t yet.

I was thinking about plugging the unused holes like you mentioned, but that would probably mean having the wheels rebalanced, maybe not, but that would add a bit of extra headache and expense, and the tires only get changed twice a year.

That pic showed the Toyo AT III’s that I run for “Summer” tires, I have some studded Buckshot II’s for my “Winter” tires, both sets are 35/12.50R/17’s on matching wheels, with chains all around, if I can’t get there, it’s time to STAY HOME ;) our area is Notorious for Ice, so there are times when the studs really make a difference

Man, I'm so sorry about the Wife! :( That Covid crap hit so many people differently. I had a sore throat and some cold like symptoms, that was it. My Buddies wife has NO sense of smell after 3 years now of having it, She was hospitalized also.

Box scraper is as handy as pockets on a shirt. I use mine more than the loader for moving dirt and maintaining gravel. If nothing else it is good ballast.

Hope you didn’t pay that welder any more than I paid my welder!

What is the best way to not have craters where you terminate a weld?

Stop, retap and refill, there are actually two more methods but beings I wasn't building the space shuttle, I really wasn't worried about it to much! :p

The extent of my welding training was weld these two pipes together, make your sweep little wider, pause a little longer on each side to let the puddle fill in, move your rod faster, keep it about a 75 degree angle and pull don’t push you puddle.

It’s good enough for farming. But I admire the welding skills some guys have.

Picture of my ugly undercut welding, I think I was using 3/32 7018 but it could have been 1/8 6010 DCEP

    Hey
Hey, if it sticks and holds it’s all that matters in that instance. Don’t need to be “purty”.

6010 runs much smoother, (and some will disagree) on A/C current. It's what the rod was originally designed for.
