I remember throwing that pallet on there,  and those pine branches are the ones from the tree that Scotty cut down. That was a good night!

Burned the scraps from the cedar roof i tore off last week...three barrels full. The nice ones get saved for kindling. IMG_3329.JPG
About as tall of fire we can have here. We had nearly 3" of rain so everything was soaked.

I just tried to light a fire, but the wood in the pit is too soaked after 4" of rain this week.

I'm hoping we can get a decent rain between here and a couple of nights before Halloween night so that I can light mine off... Its way too dry at the current time to even think about a open burn...

Buncha pikers. Me and the two neighbors have 2 piles we burn generally twice a year. The one was the size of a 1 car garage and then we through the brush from a 42DBH and 36DBH ash on it. Darn pile was so big is scorched a dozen apple trees. We wanted to burn 2 months before this when it was frozen out but as everyone knows, burning brush puts you in tremendous danger of Covi 19 and couldn't get a permit.:headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang: DSCF0002.JPG DSCF0001.JPG DSCF0003.JPG DSCF0004.JPG DSCF0005.JPG DSCF0006.JPG DSCF0008.JPG

Nothing like dancing around naked round the fire. Watch out for the sparks though and make sure the seats are up on any garden tractors or tractors.
