Thank you! I think it'll fit my needs perfectly. It has a head onboard and a wet bar.
Here's some interior pictures, not great pics but it shows the layout IMG_20240603_173522.jpg IMG_20240603_173527.jpg IMG_20240603_173535.jpg

Took the beast out to the small lake we like to go to today. First outing for us with it.

It was a bit different than with the nautique. A lot more room in the Larson and aside from needing a bit more room to back up with the big double axle trailer, vs a short single axle on the 'tique, it was easy to handle. This particular lake has a 35 mph limit, and the lake patrol was out, so no top speed tests. We'll go to other lakes to try that out.

Lake Michigan is only 11 bucks to drop it on at Port Washington. That's like 15 minutes driving away. But more likely will be a bigger body of water that's inland first. It got choppy on Sunday on this little lake, but the big Larson just laughed at the waves. Totally unlike taking those waves in the nautique.

My old man and I put in on the Mystic River in CT recently. Headed south to the sound and Mason's Is and Endmunds Is.
    12 miles covered.
A day with Dad is the best part.
Ice cream at the dràwbridge ice cream place was awesome...on the river, return trip.

We both prefer salt water, both having grown up on the same.
I prefer heavier seas, confused waters, and big rollers. I'm not having fun unless there is water coming over the bows.

I circum nav'd Fisher's Island a few years ago...solo trip. Had to work the ebb and flood tides to my advantage though.

I also enjoy being out on fresh water ponds when there is a hurricane going on. Lotsa work and very exciting.

    The main building...
The sea wall was well abused by a hurricane a few years back. Restoration under way. But otherwise, grounds are imaculate.

    The chapel. Accessible by water.

We'll be headed up to Door County starting on the West Coast of the county at the end of this month. We're taking the boat, the hotel has over 100 slips, but seeing as my boat is not a cuddy, we might just say boat launch and cruise. The public launch is only a few hundred yards away. I think I'll even fish. I hear Sturgeon Bay is excellent fishing for a number of types of fish. Ideally I hope to catch a couple of walleye or trout/ salmon to put in the freezer. My boats not really a fishing boat, but I've got a cooler that's always been a fish cooler and a big enough transom deck to be able to fish from. If I'm going to be on the water, might as well throw a line out, right?

We'll probably head up the shoreline and stop at places along the way. The hotel also has no issue with us leaving the boat on the trailer there too.

Got her back from the shop Wednesday afternoon, New Holley Marine Double Pumper Carburetor, New Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and New MSD ignition system.

Should qualify as BOATs, instead of BOAT (Bust Out Another Thousand)

Took her out, and was Happy with the results, but she was getting a bit cranky about the old fuel ⛽️, going to have to run it out, got the Port tank pretty much run out but then the petcock for it wasn’t closing, sumthin about 56 year old boats:rolleyes:

    IMG_2367.jpeg IMG_2369.jpeg IMG_2370.jpeg
we did run down river to a floating restaurant, for a yummy lunch  definitely recommend the Honey Butter Biscuit Shrimp.

It was a Nice Day on the water, looking forward to running out the rest of the old fuel soon

    Doug

Vacuum or mechanical secondaries on that Holley?

Holley marine carbs have gotten really pricey as of late

I thought a new Holley 4160 600cfm marine carb was expensive at nearly 500 a few years ago was bad. Look now and $$$
