    I do 95% of my boating during the day, so I don't think much about that.

    Picked up a 1648jon with 25hp Suzuki a couple weeks back, redoing the wiring now and a few other minor things just to get it to my liking but the boat was thinking water ready the day I got it. Going to be perfect for catfish jugs, trot lines, breambeds and what little duck hunting I do these days

    Water temp is still pretty cold, caught one landlocked salmon early in the day then the sun burned the cloud cover off and nothing. It was a nice day for a 9 hour 1mph cruise.

    Rigger ball is only 5-10 feet down. Live sewn shiners, tandem flies and dB smelt spoons. Depth isn’t as important as water temp with these fish. Right now the water temp is cool on top from the ice melt, as ambient temp gets warmer the fish move down the column in search of cool water.
