The 5200 that MM pics above has a 5 digit item #. Wonder if they are going for Harbor Freight? I've always wondered why HF is so light in the saw category.

Yeah, I've seen the PP4218 at HF. Price wise, it's usually more than other outlets.

Yeah, it was a 58. My bad. Still ran like chit because of my terrible job on porting. I thought bigger was better. My 45 cc ran good. I took that last jug way to far. . :(

How else are ya gonna learn? I'd rather figure it out on a handful of China reject saws than a $600+ pro-saw....

O.K., you guys got me looking closer at these saws, of the 52cc jobs I've been looking at, I've narrowed it down to these two, the orange black one looks to have a triple? port muffler and looks kinda like a j-red, the yellow and black one has a duel port muffler, looks like the Red Max and comes with an 18" b/c, I like the yellow and black color scheme a little better....... s-l1600 (50).jpg s-l1600 (51).jpg s-l1600 (53).jpg s-l1600 (52).jpg

The yellow one looks like my earthquake but looking at the controls and outsides thats all thats different in the two. Choke in same place. The yellow has a metal toggle switch like the quake where the orange has a slide switch like a jred or husky.

Yeah, I was looking at the on/off switch (actually a rocker switch) on the orange one, it looks like it's ready to fall out, I think I like the other one better....

How strong are the recoils on these things?, will they hold up, or need replaced every year or so?

Ok, had a box at my door when i got home... Im actually pretty impressed with the fit and finish and with the goodies that came for only $100. Its not a gem but its good enough for a saw that'll get beat up anyway. 20160126_150915_001.jpg 20160126_150927.jpg 20160126_151503.jpg 20160126_151643.jpg .

More pics, and a neat touch. They put the spark plug model numbers on a sticker under the air cleaner cover.... cool 20160126_151748.jpg 20160126_151753.jpg 20160126_151759.jpg 20160126_151804.jpg 20160126_151838.jpg
