That was the only thing I did to my 52cc other than fuel it and I was cutting wood. Swapped the chain (put a loop of Stihl 26RS on it) and I was cutting wood like a boss.

I put a 52 cc jug on my 45 cc Earthquake.

There are 50 cc saws out there, but they are not the norm. The 45 and below and 60 cc -72cc are the big sellers.

45mm bore IIRC, I could measure mine if you REALLY want to know. lol.
    Stroke I have no idea.

If you search eBay for "58cc chainsaw" the pics show a tri-port version. :dex:

Didn't you cram a 58 cc onto yours? Or was the "Pro" sticker worth another 6cc? :p

I'm 99% sure that's what this one is. The 45/52/58cc Chinese saws are all interchangeable top-end wise so stroke must be the same. But I didn't see a spec for it and have never measured. I suppose we could take a mathematical guesstimation and say it's right around 33mm, perhaps a lil less. 45 x 32.7 gives us a 52cc displacement figure.

    Clone saw if
    45mm x 32mm would be a 50.91cc if 33mm stroke 52.5cc if 46mm bore and 32mm s 53.2cc 46mm and 31 51.54cc

No different then the poulans with their changing tops in 46cc 49cc 54cc all same stroke.

Then their other 54cc 60cc same stroke still even as the above ones.

Makes it economical to build a bunch of different cc saws this way.

Oh yeah, nothing new. Stihl has and continues to do it.

    017/018, MS170/180
    021/023/025, MS210/230/250
    029/029S/039, MS290, 310, 390

Why build 3 saws when you could build 8-9?

Same with 2 stroke outboards. Only difference between a 9.9 and 15 HP is carb, sticker and price tag ;)

All you guys who want a chinese saw, there is a camoflauge Wild thing in then classifieds that looks new for $75.

That said I think the earthquake has way better features with the springs, cyl on case and adjustable oiler.
