I ran across this, which I thought you guy's would enjoy. It's "a comic that was given to troops during Vietnam when the M16 rifle was issued. The steps on clearing a jam have not changed. This is an interesting piece of AR15 history should live on. No m4, ar-15 owner is complete without knowing the steps needed should a jam occur. Hopefully your rifle never jams but if it does know how to fix it quickly. Most jams occur due to lack of proper ar15 cleaning or poor quality ammo." Clear a jam AR15, M16, M4 Misfire
first batch of ar in Nam didn't have forward assist. second problem was the powder- fouling up the gas ports, for a long time the powers that be blamed it on the grunts not preforming required cleaning- ( ya right ) 80% of the problems were in Washington DC. there is a long back story this if you care to dig into it.
Wanted something with a little more punch for hogs than the 223/556, but didn't want 300 Blackout. So I went with the 350 legend. Repurposed one of my S&W lowers and added an Atheris upper with a Riton 1x10 scope.
Except it's easy to get ammo for. When ammo was out of all other calibers/ rds. I saw 350 legend available almost everywhere.
Nice rig! That will punch em a bit harder. My nephew has taken several deer with his AR chambered in 350 Legend. It is very accurate and puts them down.
Not a black rifle but it is a 350 Legend. Our youth season opened today and a good friend took his daughter out and they did great. Glad they could thin out one of our crop eating mamas. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk
I saw this sign on my travels up north yesterday. Hoping you guys get as big of a kick out of it as I did.
There are a couple guys who are really creative. One guy makes single shot .22 and .32s out of sheet metal and a piece of barrel stock. https://youtube.com/@jimafcarbon4433
That’s without a doubt the most interesting rat rod of an AR I’ve seen, anywhere The paracord and Bud Light caps are a nice touch too.
BRD? Yup, got that too… About half 5.56, half 6.8 SPC in the collection. Hunt WI woods with the 6.8 like a modern brush gun (adios, .30-30!).
