    Is the cost of the BL the same as other hardwoods Jerry ? Or are you getting it free?

    I agree that there's no getting around the wait time for proper drying of firewood. That is unless you've built an outdoor kiln of some sort. If the load was cut live, I can't see it being ready in 7-8 months.

    black locust bark is good kindling. Seems like relatively quick drying wood but I am hesitant to sell thick logs after a year. Better BTUs than some oaks
