Not me. I went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a package of sawzall blades that were a BF deal. Nothing that great for me to open the wallet. Her and i were looking for a new TV for the living room, but no great deals to be found. She looked for a while. Thinking the inflation this year did a number on that.

I didn't buy a splitter but I did buy a new laptop. 64GB ram and 2TB solid state drive. So I can better oogle or is it ogle over all you guys' hoard scores. I am fired up, this laptop is ancient. Why anyone would need 64GB and 2TB, I dunno but I am set for awhile. Possibly forever. At my age, lol.

My newer ,"bigger" H/V MTD is only 21 ton with a 6hp ( IIRC) Tecumseh on our and out here through everything. I was just splitting some knotty sugar maple rounds that were cut this spring. No issues. I split a lot of elm too, it powers through that as well. Now my old Didier with a 6.5 hp predator works when better in the stringy and knotty stuff because its wedge is more of a knife than a wedge like on the MTD. Now the Didier only has about 14 tons of power.

Now an hour or so ago I swear that the $1100 splitter was only like 600-$700. Was I seeing things correctly?

I had to reread the description. It's 132 lbs lighter than comparable models. Screenshot_20221126-150456-859.png

Link worked before and still for me. Chrome here.
I think any issues were due to an incorrect price, or maybe only a few at the lower price, then more at the $1100.

I think you’re reading it wrong. A max weight of 132 lbs., lighter than most log splitters. It weighs 132 pounds max, and is lighter than most log splitters, is how i read it.

The amazon description says it weighs 130 pounds.

I'm reading the picture. See what I posted before. The descriptions on asian made products isn't always correct. Who knows? In the description of them mentions 130 lbs. :binoculars:
In any case it's obviously low and should weigh less because of it's size. There's not even a tow hitch. So that
Better be a game changer. Lol
