Well that stinks. Bet you were looking forward to getting some BB. Any in the stacks now?

Are those dead ashes in your yard coming down this year?

There's some BB throughout the stacks.

The ash trees leafed out this year. So, I think they'll stay put for another year.

There are 2 other ash trees that are on the edge of the property that should come down. I'll probably get a quote to have them taken down.

They are located downhill from the house, on the edge of the side street. I'll ask that the quote include moving the wood to the yard along the driveway. We'll see.

My racks are all full. But, I know I'll be needing 3+ cord in 6-7 months.

Thats the FHC spirit. :salute: Nice to see the ash fully leafed. Getting scarce these days.

Well, it didn't fully leaf out. Just a few branches, plus some last-ditch sprouts at the base.

I expect to have more than enough kindling as sticks break off.

Have it cut down in the spring. The bark will stay tight and minimal twig mess. The tree probably wont leaf out in the Spring. I miss processing ash with tight bark.
