My main storage areas at my friends. Sirchopsalot asked for pics recently and couldnt find it so posting a new thread is easier. Snapped a couple pics while i was cleaning his gutters. Front: 60' x 40' Close to 25 cords. How big is your postage stamp? Same yard, rear storage. Only accessible when frozen or dry spell. I dont work back here in warm weather. Notice tire marks as ive started working back there again. Mostly multi year woods stored here. Close to 20 cord. Its a mess back there. Note: my friends firewood to the far left in his lean to shed. I have wood stored in four other locations! You guys with huge yards are lucky.
He sure is. He kept offering and i initially refuse and then agree. I help him out a lot of course as well as give hims rounds and of late make firewood for him. During the warm weather the back area is blinded by foliage. The front normally doesnt accumulate splits where the wheelbarrow and splitter are. Have a couple "problem" trees to take down for him. He's the one who has that 262. I paid for the work on it for him too.

Still at M2theB's as i havent picked it up He rarely cuts wood. Doesnt need to with me around. I asked him about selling it and he wanted to keep it, but will ask again.
Are you able to access the outside and inside rows? That’s a pic of a lot of work. How long did it take to accumulate that much? I’m seeing big chainsaw cash right there, nice work brother.
Started in 2018-19 with six cords of white & red oak. The last of that went last year. Its been growing little by little every year. 5-10 cord to be sold yet this burning season.
By my count, I’ve got 11 cord split and stacked currently. But I burn a lot in the colder months, so I’m constantly adding to the count as it becomes depleted. It’s a bit of a moving target. I’ve probably got another 5 cord in rounds that need to be processed. Happy Thanksgiving, brother!
That is a lot of wood Brad!! I too envy folks with enough space to stuff that much in. Nice nice nice!
I reconfigured the middle on the front section starting last Spring. Wider aisles so can back in when ready to load for an order. The far stack with brown tarp is three cord barkless dead BL with a cord of nuggets to the right. Center is half cord stacks back to back three in a row with ailses wide enough for wheelbarrow. Back middle has a cord of nuggets and talls fresh stack is very recent cut dead wood. Front is oldest wood from Winter 2021 stacking and some from last Winter. Still can stack a couple rows to the left. Far right front is four half cord racks from Summer cutting. I can drive on the grass to get that wood. Because the splitter is right there, most new wood coming in gets split and is in the way for a short time. Ive lessened the logistical problems. If i stop bringing in more wood it be easier, but that aint happening!
