A buddy asked me to help him out with some smaller tree work at his place last weekend. We ended up taking down some small-ish (10"-12" DBH) birch, ash, and maple. Also managed to get a decent bit of hornbeam, which is a new addition to the woodpile for me.

It was a fragrant evening splitting that birch! Two beers later I had it stacked.

I'll be heading back this weekend to pick up the remainder. Hope y'all are having a great summer so far. Keep your chains sharp and your beers cold. PXL_20260614_171432101c.jpg
