Busy man you are buZZsaw BRAD. At least you are at the family's place. Definitely look like some nice wood.

Same property different location. Huge dead ash drops a big limb and leaves a widowmaker on a black birch. Took it down today and cut up some of the ash too. IMG_3740.JPG IMG_3739.JPG IMG_3737.JPG IMG_3741.JPG Got to use a quad. First for me. IMG_3744.JPG IMG_3745.JPG My take. IMG_3746.JPG Set a couple pallets and he split and i stacked the ash. More dead ash to harvest for his use. IMG_3749.JPG

Black Birch is my favorite wood to burn. That's a great score, congrats.

EAB Ash is my favorite wood to split. I'd say you scored good there, too, except it looks like you had to work a little harder for that. ;)

The wood yesterday wasnt too bad. The top fell across the train into a tangle. If i couldve left the brush piece of cake. Tropically humid conditions made it not as fun. Vampire mosquitos didnt help either.

We have some river birch (paper bark) here and there. That's about it.
