No cutting yesterday, but did set a rack, split and stacked some. He had some cement blocks that made a nice rack for the 16' pallet a scrounged. IMG_1339.JPG

Ms. buZZsaw in white tending rice pilaf and her oldest daughter Amanda cooking fried chicken cutlets. Outdoor propane stove plus a gas grill which is not in the pic. Ive been building a screen porch off the camper for them and do some firewooding too. We go there weekly.

Stumpy made a similar remark when planning out our last weekend of wooding, "you have 2 speeds, balls to the wall and sleep".
    I'll take a break when I retire.

Yup, definitely take more frequent breaks, drink like a fish....sweat like a pig....and hopefully xxxx like a racehorse.
Body armor is a good electrolyte drink, goes a long way to keep me going though.

No pics as i forgot camera. Split about five wheelbarrows full and stacked. The last tree i cut down had some twisty grain to it and didnt split easy by hand. Few rounds left and some noodle chunks. He decided to keep the two remaining trees. Other wood there (mostly hickory) from work getting electric service back there as its a 1/4 mile off the road.

LOL!!! His father who owns the property is having a couple huge hickories taken down this year. Overhanging the house. Not sure of he is keeping the wood for his use or ill get some.
Had a HUGE score of wood in Wallingford that a lot is hickory. Still some there as i wanted to catch up in the wood yard before taking any. I checked it out in person. Back up and cut.

I checked it out late last month. Very close by and i drive by there all the time. I looked last night and he updated the listing as there was a lot more wood there than he estimated. Gotta set up more staking at storage and ill go get some.

We're in the same spot, looking for storage space for cordwood.
I'm seriously thinking about seeking out a piece of secured parking lot rental behind a building somewhere.
A 16x60 piece of flat paved or graveled space would be awesoeme.
Then the game and solar cameras would.go in. Maybe some contsantine wire. Slats in the fence to keep most eyes out.....

Was there yesterday for R&R only. I did split what i could and stacked a couple wheelbarrow fulls. The stack as it is now. IMG_1461.JPG Pile of wood next to it from his cuttings to process...mostly skinny stuff. Hickory from the electric service to work on yet. May start a new thread.

Finished SS what birch was left. Cut off stumps too. He decided to keep two of the trees. IMG_1572.JPG Small pile of random hardwood i processed and added to the stack. From his cutting. IMG_1573.JPG IMG_1574.JPG
Some hickory he felled that were in the way of the utility pole install that i spent a little time working on. Cutting on a hill and in a tangle...just like a roadside scrounge!:picard: These will be added to the stack. IMG_1575.JPG IMG_1576.JPG IMG_1577.JPG IMG_1578.JPG
