The blown out pile ended up being inconsequential because I moved it under my deck, single row stacked until next year. After dropping off a truck load of ash to my brother in law over the weekend, I decided it was time to rearrange a haphazard pile of sugar maple I have for the 2022-2023 season. This time I added some 4’ lengths halfway up the pile, traversing each corner, basically tying opposing corners together. It seems a heck of a lot more stable than without it, supported in both directions. Time will tell. 8D311E42-1069-4A10-AA0A-1FF0AEE9F12D.jpeg

Nice work Eric. Good thing we dont live in a seismic area, huh? My stacks would more than likely succumb!
