I want to mount a bipod on the new equipment but haven’t quite done much research on them yet. Rail is clear to mount anything as far as I know. Mainly want the bipod for prone position shooting or off a rock. Let me know what you think.

What will you be mounting it to?

With the quad rail you should have no prob finding accessories. Depends on what you want to spend.

My thoughts were to put a bipod, a couple of sling mounts(quick detach if I can find them) and a suitable red dot sight(not worried about the color, just zoom and function) and the angled forward grip.

Harris on Bushmaster.jpg I've run Harris Bipods on a few AR platforms and would use them again. The pic is of a former Bushmaster AR I had with a Harris Bipod.

I've had an inexpensive bipod on my .223 prairie dog rifle for 5-6 years. Another on a .17 HMR
Sling mount quick detach and foldable. I like them.

I saw a couple Harris bipods at the local sportsmans store. One was a short one4-5 inches and then another was 6-8”. I wouldn’t think the 6-8” was necessary unless I was on a higher plane in the prone position. Are they adjustable/extendable?

Yes they're easily adjusted and if I remember, you can adjust them for uneven terrain. I don't have one currently or I would check that for you. I always ran the 4-5 inch for an AR.
