Have you considered one of those nets for the back instead of a tailgate? I just bought a cargo net I need to modify for my trailer. For a pickup they come all ready to go.

I have one i used once and didnt like it. Harbor Freight cargo cover special i got as a gift.

If i carefully stack the wood and go slow its not an issue. 45mph from 95 to 91 with flashers on. They dont like it go around me...and they did! This was a HEAVY load so slow it was.

I only see them that big every once in a while. They *always have some rot in the middle when that large, it seems.

I see 'em that big around here often, just not on fbmp or cl for the taking. Biggest I sawed on was probably 26-28" about waist height.

Only the biggest log is bad but the rest appears to be good.

OKAY! Which Connecticut hoarder is hitting my BL score? :heidi:

I get a PM from the guy showing me a pic of whats left? WTH!!! Someone took the nuggets, small log and stump! Three huge logs there. I asked him to reserve it for me. Shouldve told him to end the listing as i thought i was clear that i wanted the rest.

Hit the score again today and took what was left behind. Good face cord despite what the other guy took during the week. Punky centers loaded with ants. Chopped a lot of the rot out with the hatchet prior to loading. 28" bar on the 500 did the honors. Been a while since ive run a longer bar. Pile of nuggets/shorts not pictured. IMG_3851.JPG IMG_3852.JPG IMG_3853.JPG
