    Are you glad you got it? I'm trying to decide if I need to get one based on how much I'd use it. On the other hand it could be one of those things I'd use a lot because I had it...

    On that skip chain, did you go with semi-chisel?

    I'm glad I got it. The saw did just fine even in hard azz oak. The chances of me needing it again aren't that high, but I have it if I do, and it is cool, makes good pics, and good stories.

    Pyro, that oak looks typical for where it grew. Some of the logs will be a nightmare for sure but as stated; typical. Not a lumber tree but a good firewood tree.

    What gauge is that chain? I hear a lot of back and forth over the longer bars being better with .063 vs .050. It seems like the .050 are easier to find.

    I got mine in .050.
