I can recall in 2018 I had lightning hit a tree, carry through it and in to the AC condensing unit outside. Blew the copper line set apart and ruined the unit. It was the day before Father’s Day so early-mid summer. That whole next week it didn’t get above 68 degrees outside! Unheard of here in Oklahoma! I was thankful to say the least. Weather is an odd thing to figure. Will Roger’s , who was born and raised here in my hometown said “ If you don’t like the weather in Oklahoma- juts wait five minutes “. Or something like that. Truer words never spoken !
It hasn't been to bad so far this year, haven't broken 100. I've only got a couple more yrs to retirement.
Holy chit!...81* dew point! I remember learning about dew point from the local TV station weather guy may years ago and its the number i always refer to when seeing what the sticky factor will be. Usually the lower 70's the highest it will get here. It was 75* the other day. Highest i recall was 78*. I commend you for working in those conditions.
I don’t even want to go re-install the mudflap I took off the trailer yesterday backing against a curb.
This day is brutal. I managed to cut wood until 12:30 before going home to get ready for a pool party.
I’m not good in the heat, but sometimes, you need to get things done. Dew Point for me means something else the next morning…… AKA: Heat-a-reah….. TMI, I know…
Glad I got to work in the AC today. Headed to the woodyard now to split/stack some oak. Thank you JESUS for a fan and some shade...
Well, I didn't get to enjoy the sauna very long, got 6 rounds split and stacked in the tote, the heat and humidity brewed up a thunderstorm, lightning got too close for comfort...
I drove 16 straight, in an air conditioned cab so I guess I can’t complain today! My back can complain tho!
