Big Birch

    Answered a C/L ad this morning ( wood scrounging does not take a holiday).
    Guy across town ( 15 minutes) had a birch taken down and did not want to deal with the bigger rounds, he kept all the nice primo ones to himself
    Had them staged in the alley behind the house, drove right up to them, dropped the Tommy Lift and loaded up. easy peasy
    Have been having great luck scrounging the hard woods lately, last 3 scores were Black Locust, Black Walnut and now White Birch. That's pretty gosh darned good for around here

    Yeah, going to have to get out the 361 and noodle at least 5 of them, things are heavy
