I'm keeping an eye out. Local Lowes had a bunch of Green Teams ($299) clean energy, North americans ($259) When I shrugged and made a face at the price quotes she said they have a $19 flat fee for delivery. Sounds like they are trying to sweeten the pot and perhaps tonnage is not flying out the door like they thought it would ? Also those prices are with 10% off which they were advertising on the radio. Gotta keep checking for sets at Lowes as they may show up, but they will be gone quick. Real quick. Doggy
Really. So they are good pellets? I may get a ton at $259 I can't remember ever burning any of them and the local Lowes have several tons. Doggy
They are a very good pellet link to Steve's review from last year http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/clean-energy-wood-pellets-review.8401/
schoon....IF they are still produced by Hamer, I would not hesitate to pull the trigger. Just check the UPC.
Doggy go back to Steve's review he has a pic of the number write it down , if it matches up I see re bagged Hamer's Hot ones in your future .
Wifey had to run to friends house and Lowes was pretty close. Folks there not much help but I was able to find some numbers and I can now say................................ Its hammah time !! Doggy
I've never heard of Lowes doing a delivery special in the past. This coupled with a recent post indicating (I think it was Chows at HD) had already dropped $10/ton could be early signs the boxes are already feeling the effect of their pricing getting out of hand this year. Whether it's the effect of cheap oil, or them simply raising the prices higher than folks are willing to pay, who knows - but it would appear the product's not moving like they want it to. It will all work itself out in the end, can't wait to see where this lands.
I'm good with a fossil fuel/pellet fuel price war. I'd just burn oil this winter while stocking up on pellet deals for when the tables turn in the future.
