Looks like it's split with box wedge splitter. Lots of square splits. I noticed they are HQ'd in Franklin TN. Is EODDiver expanding?
This guy had super high prices. He stopped putting them up on his website.Firewood Guy - Menu of Prices for NH kiln-dried Firewood
That listing from Old Nate is funny. The listing actually states that their oak wood is "not seasoned" and that seasoned oak is characterized by "rot, fungus, mold and pests." I guess that could be true if one doesn't know how to season. My seasoned oak is hard as a rock with no rot, fungus, or mold." There may be some snakes in the stacks, but I don't mind them! Another thing. They advertise that their wood is "kiln dried." Of course, the only time I used kiln dried wood was when camping in Smoky Mountain National Park. We bought a couple bundles of "kiln dried" from the Park Service camground store, and it burned like crap... Just a couple thoughts... and appreciated that I'm wise enough to not be swayed by wacko advertising like that.
What a deal! Hope everyone got their order in like I did. Maybe I should get several and resale them?
I like to think I take pride in the wood we produce, but it is anything but pretty. Glad it works for them and the people that purchase it and the fact we can make fun of it.
My former supervisor used to bring me shorts and uglies that didn't fit nicely in his wood piles. I used to ask him if he hoped to have pictures in Better Homes and Woodpiles.
