    well, today Hailey passed from kidney failure, she was only 4 years old. lost my best buddy, she would ride around with me on the golf cart, spend time with me in the woods, man am I going to miss her. Hailey by her favorite tree, it was hollow and she would hide in it.

    So very sorry for your loss. She looks like a real sweetheart. I lost three year old lab this year. I was so sad. But, because she was such a friend, I thought it best to get another friend ASAP. I still miss my sweetheart dog, but I am very busy again training my new friend. For me, it was the best thing to do.

    In time it gets better. But the good times will far outweight the sad times now.

    Condolences from my family

    It still amazes me when I hear stories of animal cruelty. I dont know how or why someone would hurt an animal? Animals are amazingly loyal creatures that will love you and protect you. Even fight for your life (you guys have heard the Lassie stories).

    I hope one day that hole is filled in your life by another Dog (Family member).

    ironpony, very sorry to hear of the loss of Hailey.
    Even though we expect something to happen and know it will, it's not always easy once it does.
    We've lost 3 dogs in the past 3 years or so, but we've since gotten 4 pretty cool dogs. One is my new best buddy, and it helps.
    Maybe you should get 4 new dogs too.:)

    Loon, love those Pyr pics, amazing how they are just up on everything. Sorry he's not with you any longer, but it sure looks like you guys made the best of the time you had together. I think I will never be without a Pyr, such gentle souls they are.

    Here's my princess, she was sort of a rescue dog and 25 lbs. of pure energy, great frisbee and boating pup. Holly will be 7 next week.
