Any saw will work just as good, as long as you have a decent chain. But! I prefer Huskies!

    LOL, not at all.

For those that don't know, Mr. Concretegrazer knows I am a Stihl guy. But I am not your typical "brand exclusive fan boy". I appreciate all brands. And the constant "brand" wars/bashing got old a long time ago imo.

There it is. Came this afternoon.
Feels like a little screamer goosing it behind the garage. Too much snow to give it test cut.
Not very enthused about the bar Baileys sent with it. But I didn't do my homework on that.
Looking forward to getting out back with it!

Nice. I prefer a RSN bar too. Those Sugi's really hold up well so I'm sold on 'em. Looks like a loop of semi. Is that your preferred?

No debate here, Ported 346XP. I have an OE TreeMonkeyed 346 and a ported NE 346.

I had a 550XPG which I sold because it was such a dog compared to the above. Did like the heated handles though.

Ran today for a little dropping a few white oaks for my bridge project.
I'm hoping there's some break in gain. I thought it lacked torque on the bigger cuts. Actually bogged to a stop twice.
After it ran for a while and it was just liming, it was a screamer. And it lite! I got it pinched and had to back for another saw to save it. I don't blame the saw for that.
Not the best debuts. It early. Not even a tank yet.

If you don't mind the noise give it a good muffler mod.

I gave it rip down the trunk of the first tree I dropped of about 3'. Might not have been enough to adjust the auto tune yet before I started my cuts.

My 357 picked up a LOT after 6-10 tanks.

I guess best is subjective , I was happy the day I unloaded my 346 , I couldn't warm up to it at all .

I am not a fan of this series of bars either. Not greaseable. It's what I could pick up at Lowes on a Sunday morning after destroying a bar.

Yep. My 550 is louder than my buddy's stock 562...and nearly as fast in <12" wood :saw:
