Dakota Hoarder I would say you did ok.. I got a 260 pro.. love that thing I only wish it would oil a 25 inch bar so it could be my limb saw! that 391 is over 14 lbs and a rancher type saw that 260 is sweet just my opinion

This is why I feel a good 60cc saw is hard to beat. I even used the 6100 to noodle most of it up into manageable sizes

Looks like it would be a good 1 saw plan, just like my Husky 555.

It's like someone started reading these saw forums and built a damm near perfect firewood saw.

    Mag case (durability) - check
Great power to weight ratio - check
    Professional Features - check
    Reasonable price - check.

Really, the $&@@ing thing is comfortable running 16"-20" bars like a boss, has AutoTune tech, adjustable oiler, great AV, has a nice slim profile and weight is on the lighter side for a 60cc saw. Doesn't even have the dreaded silver paint job some folks hate.

This is why I like the 6100 for a first choice . It is my main felling saw, bucking saw and wood splitter. Lol
and my 7 year old daughter can start it for me. Lol

1 saw - ported ms 241cm. Mean little saw as long as you don't get into too large of timber.

    2 saw - add a ms 362cm.

    Hi folks.

First post. Just a saw enthusiast and firewood hack. I cut way more than I, or any of my friends, need. Plenty on reserve. My 3 saw plan is more like a rotating 6 saw plan. For me, it is as much about running the rebuilt saws as it is about the wood. Glad to be on board.

I won't be surprised if you like the 361 better than the 362, unless you are wed to the m-tronic. Either way, you got two great 60 cc. saws.

I agree. I started my 2 saw plan with the 550xp knowing it'd be sometime before I got a 372, of course I keep finding times I wish I had one haha.

    I LOVE my 550xp!

I built up my three saw plan over the last 15 years, started with a Husky 350 with an 16" bar, not a bad little saw but once I really started burning wood and started cutting larger rounds a Stihl 460 was added. Well another 460 was added, mainly because it was in nice shape a cheap find, so one wears 20" and the other a 25" bar. Technically, as I tell the wife the two 460s only count as one. So, I found a Stihl 660 with 28" bar that needed some TLC so rebuilt it but don't have a calling for it too often. So three saw plan, Husky 350, Stihl 460, Stihl 660. The saw that gets the most use is the beater Stihl 460 with a 20" bar. The Husky for tops and big Stihls for large rounds or noodling.

So the 350 has been with you for quite some time. I picked up one used in really good shape a few months ago. Previous owner had it ported and a 353 meteor piston. Runs pretty good I hope it lasts half as long as yours. Like your 3 saw plan too.

Yes the Husky 350 has been with me for 15 years now. It was used when I got it but in really nice shape. Used it for only about 2 hours a year for the first 13 years helping my dad cut firewood and cutting camping firewood and never had an issue. I dont want to say I neglected it but the fluid would stay in there until next time I used the saw, a year sometimes, and it started great every time. The only issue I had was just recently the fuel tank vent plug must have fallen out and when I filled the tank it would leak but that has been fixed. They say the saws are prone to issues with the muffler bolts loosening and falling out but knock on wood haven't had that problem. Great saw, but when I started burning myself and got into bigger rounds, the 460 are beasts compared to the 350. The 350 still gets used though for limbing and smaller stuff.

Forgot to say, good luck with your 350, I always thought that if the saw need a P&C I would try putting an XP unit on it.
