Cash Larue , I'm looking at getting an electric splitter. All lodgepole, dried in round or log, but by the time we (he) gets to it it's tinder dry, kwim? Is a 5 ton sufficient?

Hi, wildwest! I would think a 5 ton would be sufficient. Dry Lodgepole splits so freaking easy. My big hydro sails through Lodgepole like hot butter. Some of the big knotty Ponderosa will occasionally make it shrug for a second - but never Lodgepole.
