Hmmm, 1/3 of a large red oak tree or 0/3 of a large red oak tree.
    Tough decision.

I've been looking at an oak thats partially in the lake all summer. Maybe I should have tied off to it and then cut it at the base and towed it home?

We have a camp almost on 13th. Lake near North Creek, NY. It can't be 'on' the lake because the lake is in the Adirondack State Park.
