I have not priced them recently. They used to be 1500 msrp. I figure they would get dealer pricing. I got the one for work for $1150 with 32” light bar. There’s probably a list of folks that want a bbr endorsed 500 for 2200. Videos don’t always show everything, but it appears to be all show no go. Definitely not ripping through a big log like an XS500.
I don't mind that guy as much as some people do; I just don't have the time to get sucked into one of his grueling videos that could be condensed down to 10-15 minutes.
My problem began with him continuing to supporting that lying thief Iron horse after more than one incident.
Fair enough, I can butcher my own crap up as good as he can any day of the week Actually I'm thinking about trying my hand at porting my Echo CS-370, since it's only an Echo CS-370...
It's pretty fun to see, hear and feel the difference in a saw when you port it. My stuff isn't anywhere near a professionals gains but still reasonably impressive for a hack. Lol.
I'm happy with the extra sausage treatment Kevin gave my 029, and wouldn't mind trying it myself on a 12 year old homeowner saw that owes me nothing.
Same here. Anything I care about and want real performance from goes to Kevin. Cheap or free saws are what I play with for the porting practice. I have zero plans of being a saw porter. I only do my own stuff and have given most of them away.
I only started this journey so I understood what the guys were talking about and it snowballed into having to see it for myself. https://photos.app.goo.gl/42dZ7QQfo2LmDsq56 Latest one of mine. Early 70's 34cc Remington. Thats maple. These are nowhere near this powerful stock. I did all kinds of mods to this with reckless abandon because I have many of these as well as a tote full of used and NOS parts.
Awe ain't she cute Looks like that little saw rips! I like that air cleaner on there, it's kind of a rat rod of a vintage saw.
