BBQ guns became kind of taboo in my family when my great grandfather shot a neighborhood cat out of a tree during a family picnic... A few of us have them, but we don't bring them to BBQ's Besides which, CT is no longer an open-carry state as of recently.
Well, I guess my definition of a BB gun is different from most. BB guns were what we had as kids growing up. We later upgraded to real firearms. Although I know that there are air rifles these days that are much more powerful and accurate than those we had 60 years ago.
I did manage a grip upgrade, but that’s about all. Didn’t bring home any new toys. Although I did have a major inner struggle with myself over a Colt python that would also be a nice BBQ gun. Oh well, it will probably be there in November.
Good thread, y’all. I too had varying thoughts when I first read the title… but ‘tis true- I learned something new on this specific “everyday.”
