    I've burnt some BE in the past...seems like a good SS wood...never burnt sycamore that I remember, have a little seasoning in the stacks right now though, glad I didn't get much based on what y'all are saying about it. (seemed to split ok for me (using hydraulics)
    I'll have a better feel for BE after this winter...have a bunch of it on queue for this year...plus a bunch in the stacks for future years...seems like its feast or famine when I get certain wood species, and its been feast with BE here lately...its a weed tree as some have mentioned, and there have been a bunch come down (or had to be taken down) at work the last few years, so I got paid to make firewood for myself, so I gotta burn it, right?! :fire: :thumbs:
