FYI here's a few pics of my burn pot after about 20 hrs of burning Barefoot .

    Stove Temp mode

    setting 3

I'm getting good heat , just getting ash cake brownies on the end .
As always your mileage may vary with your setting and stove choice :D

This is just 20 mins accumulation? Did you start with a clean burn pot? Please say no!

Yikes!!?? I didn't see that coming. We burn a few bags of BFs each year when we can get our hands on them. Our results were much different. You might need to break out the pick axe for your burn pot.

Yeah. We know it can't be the pellets...

Seriously Will, I have seen pellets that produce ash like that over the course of a day or longer, but certainly not a couple hours! I would be pulling my hair out! Even the chows I burned last season, which produced ash that was worthy of a Guinness book of world records entry, were not as bad as what you are seeing here! Yikes!

Will, I apologize for not reading your first post clearly. I did not get that this was 20 hours accumulation. In that case, I have used pellets that did the same. It sucks and I would still be pulling my hair out. This is the last thing you expect, given the price they command. Now I really want to see what Joe reports after he burns some!

Uggh, Guess I should have been more specific.....

Last season vs this season should be in separate threads. This seasons can be combined....
