Curiosity got the best of this geography nerd and I see there's a TSC in Wolcott

I donated a gallon to the PA gtg. Good time to replace it.

Holy smokes, thanks for the heads up. Looks like I’ll have to pay TSC a visit, even though I have more than enough.

I'll be going to TSC today to get a couple gallons. I'll have the $4.99 price for a buck lower than local price.

I got to TSC. They wouldn’t price match a store in PA. It wasn't local enough.

So, I bought 2 gals and not 3. $5.99/gal is still a good price.

I just whined about the no price match via their survey process. We'll see if anything comes of it.

I have faced this for years at my local store. I thought when RK moved in, half a mile away, they would change their tune. Haven't noticed much different though. 499 is by far the cheapest it's been around here...

Add 6 to the hoard. 4.99 is the cheapest I’ve seen too.

Same here, the "sale" price is $12.99 here. They wouldn't price match out of state.

This is all season. They had winter on the shelf for 12,49.
All season has never been an issue in winter for me. Rarely do I cut below about *20 F. I even have a saw with heated handles lol!

Regular bar oil pours like molasses at zero. If it’s kept warm it’s not an issue. Filling up the saw isn’t bad, turn the saw off or let it set in the snow a few minutes, not so much. At -50 even the winter oil starts pouring a little slower, but still pour somewhat fast.

$4.49 here in MI. Got 2.
Found a trick to get this price, even if TC won't price match in store.
Set your store for one in MI. Add the oil to your cart. Before you checkout, select to pick up at a different store. You get the MI price, even if your home store is higher.

This actually worked! At least the order has been placed and paid.
    2 gallons for a total of $12.85.
We'll see what happens when I get to the store.

Your post reminds me of my days of hoarding 22lr ammo more than ten years ago. There was a little 'club' on a forum and all we did was try to find $.06 or under ammo. We had secret Cabela's 'cart links' and whatnot. At the time it was more scarce than hen's teeth. Good times and I still have not put a dent in what I bought back then. I got caught with a low to no supply and said 'that's never going to happen again'.
