Google “durex” and you’ll get blacktail ’s “protective gear for wet conditions in PNW” joke!! That was funny! “slipped that one right by”
Yep. Caught that one as he said it, although probably only because I had been trying to find info on Durex oil a few days ago, and the results had nothing to do with chainsaws...
Tried those in the past and they are an improvement over the bar oil jugs. I like this other one because it holds a full gallon. Also its instant off when you take your thumb off the button. Plus the screw off cap makes it a little easier to fill with bar oil.
Good idea! I always transfer my oil from the gallon-size jugs to quart-size bottles. I find them easy to pour. They also transport well in combination with my fuel. I carry one-gallon mix gas cans and quarts of B&C oil in a long milk crate; keeps it all from dumping over in my truck. I get the B&C oil for free, store it in one-gallon jugs, and take about five quart-size bottles of it out into the woods for a day of cutting.
You must be way more talented than I am! It seems like balancing that over top of the saw, while manipulating the button would be awkward. Glad it works for you, though...
