I suppose if you beat the chicken out flat enough, don't know that I'd try to roll it with raw chicken even really thin. Possibly a shredded pre-cooked chicken.
Most of the time I make these I get home from work throw them together bake and throw in the truck and head to a football party, they're really easy - once you get the rolling down.
the egg is important, otherwise you have a mushy mess, still tasty but not good finger food;)

Well, I tried savemoney 's recipe for the Oreo brownie cupcakes. It was a little fiddly but they went fast. Campinspecter took the camera wood cutting so I took pics at the start with the phone (old style flip phone). Tried sending the pics home. Things went wrong so all I have is pics of the finished product.

I wanted to make a lot for a potluck so only put one cookie in each with a coating of peanut butter. Poured the brownie batter over it. I made 18.

They were pretty big so I thought why not cut them in half.

    100_2372.JPG

They looked a little naked so I used the icing mix that came in the package and iced the cut edges and rolled in coconut.

Made enough to serve a few people and I got to taste them without eating all of them.

If I make them again, I would put a little batter in the papers before adding the cookie. The paper didn't want to come off the cookie. Campinspecter definitely thinks I should make them again.

Good, I can't have them for a while. I have to stay on my diet so I will look more like a person than a barrel.

I found drinking water while drooling at FHC Smokehouse food threads took the weight off. Now the challenge is to keep it off. Good luck with your diet and your challenges.

That looks real good. Really like cooked apples in most anything. Don't care for milk. Got away from that when I was a kid.

    Looks delicious!!

I used a stale bag of shredded wheat (crushed) in banana bread years ago. Tasted great. I'd like to think it had more fiber since I smothered it in butter and ate it with a glass of whole milk.

I'll get my pumpkin bread recipe up around Christmas, loaves for all the neighbors- and some warm buttered for myself:drool:

Speaking of all this losing weight - I had to punch another hole in my belt today, so far as I don't have to back it up in couple months:thumbs:

These muffins had applesauce added, actually doubled as I was short one can of pumpkin filling. There was cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in this recipe.

I used canned pumpkin filling for elderly dog years ago. At that time Libby had the highest fiber. It helped her alot and she loved it, I will make yours this fall too for us humans, thanks!

 I have not had that in a while. My mom made homemade apple pie the other day though. And I was there for lunch the next day when I insulated the underside of their porch. Whipped cream on top made it even better.:D
