If he gets caught dumping that mess in a car wash they will run him off post haste...if not call the cops
(my wifes uncle manages some of the local car washes...I get to hear all the car wash horror stories)

Ok, I'm curious now. Around here I've seen trailered fishing boats cleaned of fish guts and cut bait in car washes. I used to see engine degreaser on the selector knob for cleaning the engine compartment. I think most of the car washes here are on city sewers. Car washes must have oil and grease interceptors in place I would think.

Send your husband over there to have a discussion with him. No need for you to have to dance around him.

They do have the oil water seperators but they require maintenance (professional emptying) and that isnt cheap. These types of use accelerate the need for maintenance costing the business significantly more in operating costs. Not to mention its a pain in the azz.

Dumping cooking grease is no different than dumping oil. Both are illegal. He's avoiding the expense of disposing of grease properly.
You call a cop, investigating and thwarting crimes is what you pay them to do.
If the cops won't do their jobs the EPA will.

State health dept. local health dept., EPA regional office. What he is doing is bad news and very illegal. Wait till the rats start congregating and then the cats, possums, raccoons.....................
As stated above he is avoiding disposal fees and "he" is what creates the laws and problems for people trying to do the right things.
My guess would be that after he is busted the local authorities will create a law stating all food trucks have to provide proof of waste disposal quarterly to the licensing agency. which will inconvenience all the people trying to make an honest living.
He will be the reason for another layer of govt. Maybe they will name the new rule after him.

After 28 years of living across the street from him, I have the better relationship with him and his wife. He's not a threatening guy, 67, about my size, and diabetic. If I felt in any danger I would let my husband handle it, but since he knows me better I'm more likely to get positive results.

Seeing this....I wouldn't go near that truck at a fair. It's a friggin' pig sty.
I understand needing to make money, but do it right or do something else. How can he not know that's nasty? Uh....he's trying to clean it out of the truck. DUH

Took a few months and a camera scoping but we did catch a home owner dumping large amounts of grease into the sewer. Baby Wipes and Grease is a real PIA to deal with in the wet wells. The home owner is supposedly being sent the $450 bill to clean that station?

If the city won’t do anything about it then forward pics and info to the EPA. By the time something happens about the dumping the critters will be attracted to the area already.

He's got an old camper parked adjacent to the food truck, that thing must be mouse central.

I don't know if there's an outhouse, but there is a swimming pool half filled with leaves and brown water.

Guy is obviously living from hand to mouth, I would prefer not to be the one to push him over the cliff. I think his implosion is inevitable anyway.
