I can drive my Dixie with one hand.

Once I let go of one stick, it just about stays where I left it, so as long as you are driving straight and match the speed with the other stick? You are good to go... (or you can use your thumb to control the opposite stick)

But when it only takes an hour to cut 4 + acres (I only cut half my property). You can drink a few before, then cut, and have a few after. :drunk:

The clippings build up when you open the chute it blows out not very good for mulching with out mulching blades. I got it for when I am close to the house and pool I close it so I can keep my stripes equal

Gotcha. Might look into the mulching kit just out of curiosity.

I have in the last two years gotten to play on both the bad boy 60" commercial and the xmark 60" which has the 30 Kawasaki in it and I can say this ( both machines are works) the exmark is so fast it cut my cutting time down to what used to take 2.5 hours takes about 1 hour now but both come with a hefty price tag 10k

20150519_201022.jpg Just brought this guy home today. Snapper pro s150xt. It's a beast. 52" deck, kawasaki fx730, hydro gear zt5400 transmissions. It's a lot of mower for the money. I'm very happy with it.....and the seat is super comfy.

I know- every time I get on my mower, I don't regret the investment. I can't say that about the Ex or a lot of other things I've sunk money into.

Got it. How do I turn this thing at the end of a stripe and not leave a mark? Never ran a zt before. It's definitely faster than my walk behind.

Drive to the end of your pass and back into the turn. You make the turn while reversing so that when you spin round 180 deg, you should be facing the direction you need to go. Rinse, repeat.

Don't do donuts around trees, beds, etc either. Split your pass around those kinds of things.

    Happy mowing!

Yep. The correct way is to get to the end and back up and turn into the next line.

I once saw a pic on a commercial mowers forum of a stripe job. Someone commented that if you did that to a yard in the south, you're not getting paid and may get an a$$whoopin. Thats a fact.

I'm not real worried about the actual stripe as much as the turn.
