A pure genius in firearms design, he deserves a seat at the same table as Einstein and Tesla.

No idea on the age, of this belt, it was WWW's grandmothers. Any guesses? Either way I get to use it now:) She was born in the mid 1920's.

There is some green near the silver grommets. I assumed it was chrome but wondering if the green tarnish is because the grommets are silver plated? IMG_20161119_162354196.jpg

That's a nice looking piece. As long as you have something you're comfortable with it's good. I keep a little .380 in my pocket a lot at home. No reason not to.

Try buying 32ACP ammo at Wally World. It's not real popular anymore.
If it a semi auto you want, get a .380 or 9mm. If you want a revolver I would look for a simple .38 like the Taurus 85

The green is probably the copper plated with something? Silver like you said?

I'm surprised no one has said this yet. I just picked it up to read after a week or more at the house , but this month's ISSUE of American Rifleman has an article of the evolution of pocket pistols resulting In current crop of .380s. the 1903 model M has a mention in the article and a few pics. This is the article on the new LCP II

I just read that yesterday morning. I'll have to check out the new LCP, I find my first gen LCP is my most carried handgun as I prefer it's size even over my much more accurate SIG P938 or j-frame. Even with marginal accuracy I haven't complained about that (really, CCW are for 3 yards and under) but if they improved it that's not a bad thing.

I haven't read the part about the LCP yet just most of the pocket pistol article. it's actually separate from the LCP article I saw.

I too carry my tarus tcp as well over my J frame size tarrus revolver. or my smith sd9, which is like a brick compared to the tCP

Yes. It's got a retention strap so it can't slide out if it's in your purse. It also covers the trigger guard well.

How do you plan on carrying most of the time?

The good thing is in Wyoming concealed carry is legal for residents. I will need to get a bigger purse

For sure I want it with me when traveling out here, it can be desolate between here and town (20 miles), but I want it here with me inside the house too where I am most the time. My purse in with me 99% of the time, so I am thinking that is the best spot?
