In 1992 I had to hang up my trap gun as I had burned myself out and was flinching so badly that a release trigger wasn't even working. Walked away and never looked back for 23 years. Was talking to a old shooting buddy from back then a couple of weeks ago. He had just recently lost his wife to Alzheimer's and has had a bit of a time trying to adjust. He talked me into coming out to the old club today for a visit. Went out today. Seen folks I hadn't seen in years. Got a borrowed 682 Beretta un-single put in my hands and shot 2 rounds. Managed to pump out a 19 and a 20 after 23 years away from the sport. Have to admit it was a lot of fun...........
Looks like both of you two guys are reaping benefits of getting together Rotti. I'll bet it was a ball remembering the old times. The older we get the better we were...
Good to have you back! My son and I worked the Ohio State Championships Saturday as part of his 4H Shooting Sports club. We had a great time and saw many experienced shooters compete. There were lots of good folks with nice expensive equipment!
