But oil has a serious downside.

Very volatile price swings can occur.
For a small house or an add on heat source the pellet stove is great.

A lot of Manufactured homes have all electric heat $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

X2 snowy, I just paid 166.9 per gallon for a fill of oil, but it may not last long and when it goes up again I believe it will be up for good! So right now is an Ideal time to snag a pellet stove and refurbish it!!!
If you hang on to it the gas prices are on the rise again with heating oil soon to follow so it may be slow but the market value of the rebuilds have no where to go but up!
I just sold a Harman refurbish today and did not have to put it on Craigslist!
So hang in there and it will work out!

 

That's what we all thought 3 years ago, but in spite of the guy in the White House trying to stop energy exploration, the price dropped off the shelf. Could happen again, or stay where it is.

 

I remember back in the early 90's when we paid four bits a gallon for on road diesel.

When I was in high school I paid on average about 30 cents a gallon for gas.

Times gone by
