Back at it. Fishing in Pa.

From the pond at the GTG. Cicada flies i tied myself worked very well

 

That's great. I know that was a good feeling. Glad ya'll caught some

 

Especially John, I hear he may have gotten skunked on the Saturday Fishing Trip!

 

Certainly did. But that's my first brown trout and the first fish I caught on a fly I tied myself

 

That's awesome, you tie some incredible flies for a beginner!

 

Glad I was there to document it!

 

Thanks again for the awesome flies, the leader, the guidance and your netting abilities for my first ever Brownie and Rainbow on the flyrod!

 

Wouldn't have it any other way

 

Took Sarah out a couple times after the GTG. The first time she kicked my butt and the second she was also until the last 15 minutes. Yesterday I started with a 31" 5.7 pound Channel Cat. Sarah had about 12 Largemouth including a 2.5 and a 3 pounder. I caught 3 in the last 15 minutes to take the lead and my last one was 3.5 pounds.

 

Making memories and Sarah thought ya'll were just fishing.
