Collins axe, but unknown hardwood two man cross cut saw. It is really old as it is riveted together. Interestingly every raker has been broken off making me wonder if it was used to cut ice/hay?

I was very close to buying that maul. I would love to try one, but my wife bought me 2 last Christmas giving me 3 total, so can't justify another. Husqvarna makes good axes

I didn't know you could use the word "Justify" in the same sentence with the words "Axe" , "Knife" , "Gun" and "Chainsaw" ?
I must have slept through that class lol

I'm pretty sure that series of axes are being made by Hultafors for Husqvarna .
Never seen an Emerson and Stevens , don't forget the pics :)

Did yinz guys see this awesome trade hatchet that fishingpol and Eric VW as well as some others were involved in creating for me out of a discarded chunk of Collins axe? I collect tomahawk and trade axes, this was a big surprise to me over the holidays, and will be cherished by me for many moons to come! I'm hoping one of those fellas can come along and share the cool story of how this axe came to be! Jon (fishingpol) re-forged it into an amazing piece, look at that forge weld around the poll of the axe! He created the walnut haft as well. It's amazing.
