I just checked out you're link. It's possible I misunderstood a certain conversation and they were talking about the AWF HW rather than the WP. But I'm pretty sure we were discussing the WP since it was a new product to our line up at the time.

Love the smell of awf white pines. The g/f puts them around the house near christmas for the smell. Stronger than any glade or potpurri around

Found some American Wood Fiber Ultra Premium White Pines. Price isn't great, but it's convenient and I only need two tons.

    Thoughts on these?

My apologies for the delay in responding. And thanks so much for the responses! You guys are great!

I ended up getting 1 ton of Nation's Choice and 1 ton (plus another 20 bags) of the AWF WP's. I paid $5.68/bag. I don't have access to a truck, so I rented the Lowe's truck. Stupid me, I didn't stop to think that they would have two different brands and the first load was the Nation's Choice. I should have looked/checked. I'm kicking myself for paying the same price for the Nation's Choice as the AWF's. Well, I'll remember next time.

And, yes, I was not at the Lowe's in your area. I'm closer to Delaware.

The good news is that we don't really heat the house with these. Our pellet burner is in a room that my wife likes to have a bit warmer than the rest of the house. Course, her idea of warmer sometimes ends up heating more of the house than I'd like. In any event, we'll burn the NC's as shoulders and the AWF's for the colder temps.

    Thanks again!

After you get a few bags of those NC burned, I would like to know your thoughts on them. They are common at the HD stores here, but I never bought any.

Will do. We ended up causing small cuts in 3 bags - two NC's and one AWF. I'll try to run them back to back and let you know. I'll do the best I can -- I'm just not as knowledgeable on pellets as you guys.

Maybe I should wait for some colder days? Although it's going to hit 36* tonight, the lows for the next several days are around 46*.
