Why aren't the blacks offended that she has been removed? Why not embrace that a black person/lady promoted a very successful and delicious product? To me, this is akin to tearing down their own statues/monuments.
Many years ago. There was nothing wrong with being a servant. People could sell themselves as a servant, or into slavery. There weren't many other options in the ancient world. Someone could sell themselves as a slave and you would have to work, But you would be provided with food, water and shelter. Then you would be set free after 7 years. Honestly it really wasn't a bad life for the time as long as you were treated fairly. But up to today's standards obviously it wouldn't be desirable, even though we practically do the same today. Slave away for a paycheck so you can buy your own food water and shelter. Some people still have live in housekeepers.
