I didn't. I drove right up to the pallets stored out front and was able to see the logo was blue. That's why I put the ? in my reply... I couldn't specifically see which type they were. I'll go back by again next weekend.
Could be......... To some pellets are just pellets, AKA there all da same even. Remember HD selling Blazers for the same cost of other brands?
HD also lost money on every pallet/bag they sold too on those Blazers (different circumstances than we are currently in also)......I will never say...."never", but I am willing to bet $1.49 that they are not selling Douglas Fir for $269....someone prove me wrong..!!
Just called Aubuchon, N. Windham... Maine Choice $279.99 Green Supreme $249.99 Inferno Gold (super pellets) $279.99 And last but not least....., Okanagan, black and clear bag (described to me as Spruce, Fir, Pine) 269.99
They are not the Infernos of old. For me at least, they were pretty good last year, Good heat output and low ash. I would buy again if I needed to resupply my stash.
I would not pay $280 a ton! I got mine during the Lowes fire sale last year for $199! I do not buy Okies or the NW brand. Too expensive for my tastes.
