Watched the video. I have 4 AT saws (including a 562) and had no idea about the 3 min idle and other retune tips. Nice! But I think the best takeaway was to properly torque the spark plugs not necessarily replace them
Could be from loose vibrating that fatigues the ground. I dunno. My 272 was running with a loose plug, but it didn’t come apart. Maybe a bad batch of plugs in some 562’s. I don’t want anyone to ruin a saw because of a plug.
Yep I hear ya. I need to replace mine anyways. I also just ordered the updated air filter kit for my 562. What brand of plugs are you running?
I can’t tell you. Spark plugs is something I take for granted being trouble free, so I only check them if a saw is not running right. All my saws could have the oem plugs. I should at least give the 084 a fresh sparky ffs. I think we debated a while back how often spark plugs should be changed.
FYI , when they look like that it is time for a new one? = Maybe?? My boat had had surface gap plugs when I had it so that would fit right in.
I'll put this out there... I always called it a ground electrode, but apparently some call it a side electrode.
Me too, I only pull them off a saw isn't running. I don't pull and throw them every year. On a high use saw every so many years I may check gap.
I knew I'd get a rise out of some people. Lol Except I didn't say anyone was wrong. I know some people honestly didn't know what that part was called. Now they do.
