Hey hey! Found my old print! I was going buggy looking for it. But had it on a backup drive that I left at work!! See attached PDF.

Also I posted a pic of the Pacific Warmland. Very similar burnpot design, Kind of where I got the idea for the fingers!

Thanks JT...It's running better this year than ever, so far.

Appreciate the thought, but I think I will go without the plates for now.

Our Quad 1000 will on occasion see a pellet or two drop in the pot after the stove shuts off and smolder there and stink up the house.

The big Whit will from time to time see a build up of shell fines fall through the grate into the ash pan and smolder along.

Never an issue until ya shut it off and then it smokes into the room with the fans off.

Sounds like you're getting (as mentioned) pellets being partially burned and shoved over into the ash pan.

Too high of feed rate ???

Yeah Snowy...I was just turning it on and off too much, I t spills some unburned pellets into the pan and then the partially burned fall in and start them on fire. Lucky no stink here!

Hey Eaton, I run 2 burn pot liners (one modified for the exact same reason) pellet spillage. The four "tabs/wings" we're welded on. I think it reduces my spoilage by about 95%. I still get some falling through the curved area below the agitatator bar. Hope this helps someone! image.jpeg image.jpeg

    Welcome BF49!!

Drilling small holes has helped me in the area's where the carbon builds. Usually 3/32 is where I start. My liner for the Omega doesn't have as many slots as the M55 liner. I might try an M55 liner the next go round.

I went the with fingers on the burn grate as to keep pellets in but not restricting the ash falling off/over the edge of the liner. Certainly easier to add the tabs/fingers on the liner than the burn grate. By the time the ash works to the edge, Its pretty fine. I wonder if drilling holes in your tabs/fingers would help ash fall over, Yet keep pellets put??
