    I wasn't planning to cut this morning, but looking out at the trunk/log is like a siren's song.

    It's getting thinner, aside from branch crotches.

    Then I cut some other branches for a quick productive feeling.

    If you scroll in on the closest round just above, you can see where it's calling out to be split.

    I cut until I got swamp butt with the sun, 80⁰ temp and dewpt in mid-60's. Time to hydrate and a shower, in that order.

    Doesn't take long to get sweaty. We cut 2 nice size hickory logs right before lunch, yep time for a shower and nap
