Started splitting some of this oak last night, the front row is all from 3 rounds! I also started working on a new pile of logs from the sewer project. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Love that last load - that's how I roll too! Now all you need is a super duty deluxe folding sawbuck to keep them off the ground while you cut them up! :D

Great looking stacks too. Awesome work! :salute:

Dang Splitsnstacks , you must be as strong as an ox! That hickory you pulled across the creek looks awesome (and heavy). Impressive. :salute:

Thanks, Shawn! I love to cut them at 8' and be able to load them in the ol wagon, problem is most of these trees are way too big to handle like that. I wish I were as crafty as you are! If I didn't have any pride I would attempt a super duty deluxe sawbuck, but seeing as how I would post it on here regardless of how good it was, I think I'll just hold off until your blueprints are published! :smoke:
What I have ready to be split will conservatively have me at 5 years ahead! Years 3-5 all sugar maple, hickory and oak. Tis a good feeling!

Thanks for the kind words, HarvestMan! I'm just a wee lad though. 5'10 and 150 soakin' wet! Im merely just a glutton for punishment :loco: .. That's a picture of me my wife and son and my aunt and uncle. (Sorry, it's the only pic of myself I could find lol)
